A Real Cinderella Story !
If THE SHOE FITS,
You Have To Admit.
Well, it was
an interesting week
last week.
When I checked my mail last week,
I found two invitations.
One was from the
Yolo County Taxpayers Association
(Read "Yolo County Republicans"),
inviting me to
Prince Tom McClintock's
April 15 Taxpayer's Ball.
I hesitated,
thinking they might have
made a mistake,
and knowing that,
at midnight,
I could turn into
a delinquent taxpayer !
I bought a
new pair of shoes
on the way
to the Ball
and they fit Perfectly !
They're very comfortable
and appropriate
and professional !
The other invitation
is from the
Republican National Committee,
inviting me to the
2005 RNC Presidential Gala
in Washington, D.C.
on May 17.
"Dear Mr. Scully,
"It is my great privilege
to invite you...
"Tickets to the RNC Presidential Gala
are $1,500 each...

Ken Mehlman
RNC Chairman

$1,500 may be
more than my net worth,
and is certainly more than
my readily available
liquid capital,
as it were.
In other words,
I'm living
hand to mouth
on unemployment,
having been attacked,
recently, by a co-worker,
and fired for it,
in what may be
a vast Left-Wing Conspiracy
against me.
And, if a Patron
wants to send me,
I'll be more than grateful.
