Students
Let's Talk About Students!
I believe in student-centered classrooms
where the needs of the students are addressed!
There is a very big difference
between kindergarteners and 12th graders!
Students' needs evolve at different rates
for different children through the grades.
When teaching kindergarteners, I believe
that primarily we are teaching Children with
tremendous emotional and social needs. They
need to be happy, to feel good about school
and learning and about their teacher and
classmates and about themselves.
They need to learn about
school routines and culture and they need
to learn to play and work well with others.
When teaching 12th graders, I believe
in focusing on the adult within the student.
High expectations produce high results!
By expecting and modeling adult behavior,
Professional Behavior, we foster
a professional educational environment
where learning can take place.
And that is what we are there for.
