Classrooms
Let's Talk About Classrooms! The classroom is
the learning environment. Classrooms should be very
stimulating intellectually. A classroom full of
pictures, photos, charts, displays, diagrams,
magazines and other visuals permanently displayed
is the Best Kind of Classroom.!!
Classrooms must be Safe and Happy Places. They
must be safe physically. This means violence, threats
of violence, intimidation, disrespectful behavior, and
unsafe physical acts can not be tolerated. The
classroom must also be safe emotionally!
Students need to feel safe to inquire,
explore, ask questions, make mistakes,
and express themselves in an emotionally
supportive environment!
Classrooms should be busy places where
the business is learning. But, classrooms don't
have to always be like Santa's Workshop.
My classroom environments
will not be stressful.
