Scully Visits Holy Site
Sacred Ceremony Cleanses,
Recharges Him
May 29, 2004 (Saturday)
by Sally Ducvid, Columnist
David Scully, social and political
activist, and the original script writer
for the Rush Limbaugh program,
attended a sacred ceremony at the
Holy Base of Travis
in Fairfield, Ca., Thursday night.
"This is Sacred Ground," he said,
"a Very, Very Holy Site,"
gesturing reverentially
toward the Air Force Base.
"Our leader's speech was inspiring,"
he added, referring to
Colonel Lyn D. Sherlock,
imam and spiritual leader,
and Commander of the Holy Site.
"It was a Special, Holy Ceremony
of Spiritual Advancement," he explained,
and was accompanied by much feasting,
chanting, and good fellowship."
"Airman Scully received her zillionth award,"
he boasted. "You know, I was
man-of-the-month in my department
about a thousand years ago," he pleaded
in a pathetic aside.
"Travis Air Force Base is Sacred Ground.
It is a Very, Very Holy Site, one of the
Holiest Sites in the World," he said.
