"It Would Be Really Good

If He Dies In Iraq"

"Overheard" In Davis, Ca

At McDonalds

May 25, 2004 Tuesday

Actually, it was last year during the war. And I didn't exactly "overhear it", in the true sense of the word, because it was spoken SO LOUDLY. It was your typical, matronly, over-40 something white bitch that Davis is so full of. I think I was the only other customer there that day at that time, and this matronly Davis bitch was talking VERY loudly to the shift leader at McDonalds, who is also a matronly white female, though younger and nicer. The LOUD, matronly, over-40 something Davis white bitch was regaling about her son-in-law being in Iraq. He was such a jerk, and he and her daughter were divorcing, anyway. "It would be so much easier and better for her if he died over there", said the over-40 something matronly white bitch from Davis, that Davis is so full of. She repeated it several times. Well, in another time and place, when America was a better place, she would have been shut up and put in her place BUT FAST - by me, the shift leader, and anyone else who heard her. But this is today, and here and now, in Davis, Ca. As it was, my blood started to boil, and I was going to give her a good scolding. But I watched the shift leader smile and nod and listen. I knew that any reaction by me would be seen as confrontational at best, and could make me unwelcome there, and possibly result in a police contact. It also occurred to me that it was a set-up or an intentional provocation to get an angry response from me. I have a reputation, and a lot of people know who I am even though I don't know them. In other words, it just so happened that I was the only other customer, and I questioned whether she would dare say such offensive and outrageous things so loudly if others were present, EVEN in Davis. I think there are SOME good and honorable people here. "You're in enemy territory", I told myself. "Don't let them provoke you. That's what they want." But I WAS disappointed with the shift leader. She could have, AT THE VERY LEAST, walked away and refused to listen. I was too mad to talk to her about it. But, I'll tell you what. I saw her on duty this morning, and I'm here all day writing. I'll ask her if she remembers it, and why she listened and what she felt. But, do you see now why I write ? There are a lot of trash and provocateurs out there who love to upset you to spoil your game. But you GOTTA fight back. And that's why I write. Now, the truth is known - to my readers and those whom they tell - about that typically offensive, liberal, matronly over-40 white Davis bitch, and about Davis, Ca. and its ambience. Here, in Davis, they think it's just great when our young men get killed there. In fact, Davis taught and inspired one of its own to do that very thing - to kill his own brothers-in-arms while they were sleeping. And then "The Davis Enterprise" ran several articles sympathetic to the murdering traitor. Would you believe that these Davis scumbags ACTUALLY had a "celebrate Davis" day last week ? I mean, come on, what's to celebrate ? You people SUCK ! I hereby designate Davis, Ca as a NUCLEAR TARGET ZONE. Remember, you read it here first. I encourage and invite the leader of North Korea, IF HE IS DETERMINED AND DECIDED TO ATTACK THE UNITED STATES WITH NUCLEAR WEAPONS, to attack Davis, Ca. In fact, I encourage him to attack it with several nuclear weapons, to make sure it gets done right. I do this out of a sense of patriotism and love of my country, because, this way, good Americans who don't live in Davis will be spared.
update May 25, 2004 1:36 pm OK, I went back to McDonalds at Mace Blvd in Davis and, as the noon rush slowed, I spoke to Gail, who I identified as the shift leader, above. Gail does remember the offending matronly over 40 ish Davis white bitch and the incident I wrote about above. Gail says she's a regular. Gail says she thought the incident "was weird and just wanted her to..." (Gail made a waving away motion with both arms). Ah, Davis. Ah, Life.
