Education Reform
June 23, 2004 (Wednesday)
This is basically what defines a liberal:
shallow, clueless people who are
suckers for feel-good measures.
As I've said before,
not a penny of the state's money goes to the kids.
It all goes to teachers.
It's an evil liberal empire of propaganda.
It isn't MONEY that the education system needs,
it's TOTAL RESTRUCTURING,
so that it is not merely an agency
of liberal social policy.
I would not begrudge more money
into a good, quality system,
but I do abhore feeding the monster.
Senator Jackie Speier's hearings
exposed the incredible corruption
that is rampant and endemic in the correctional system.
The Sacramento Bee article on 02/29/2004
does an outstanding job of explaining the problem clearly.
What needs to be understood
is that the "CCPOA" and the "correctional system"
can be replaced with the words "California Teachers' Union"
and the "school system" with
no loss of truth, accuracy or relevance.
The public school system is rampant
with greedy employees
who abuse those entrusted to them
and under their power and control (children).
These sick and evil people
should be convicted of child abuse
and forced to register as child abusers
for the rest of their lives.
They should be hounded and tortured
and abused for the rest of their lives
and, hopefully, be put into the prison system
(as prisoners, that is) where they can
"be taken care of" (gladiator style, I guess you can say),
by the tattooed moron gang members
who think they're doing something
noble and meaningful with their lives
by attacking other people
who are victims of an insane system.
I don't object to teachers being well paid.
What I object to is a publicly funded empire
of shallow liberal propaganda.
It ain't no "Leave It To Beaver" world out there.
You see, it's not Beaver's teacher
that we have in our public schools.
It ain't Opie's teacher
we have in our public schools.
What we have is a system where
a teacher screws her sixth grade student,
is released from jail,
does it again and gets pregnant
"with the love of her life".
Then, the district attorney gets on tv
and with great manly expression
and firmness declares that he has decided
not to file charges !
****
Arnold may be the leader of the century,
just moving incrementally,
first balancing the budget and stabilizing things.
He realizes that politics
is about compromise and negotiation,
and that you can accomplish more
by being friendly to your opponents.
Let me try
to explain it to you simply.
You see, you're not going
to change the educational situation
by gathering committees
of top education bureaucrats,
no matter how highly regarded they are,
even by some of the newspaper pundits.
You see, they got to
the high offices in public education
by playing footsie
with all the other education scumbags.
You see,
they ARE the education scumbags.
You see, they're like cyborgs.
They can appear
one moment to be your mother,
the next like your loving,
charming and talented professional wife,
the next like your grandmother,
or caring priest or pastor,
or like a morally outraged attorney.
You see,
these cyborgs can sense
what you want them to be
and then be it.
But they're still cyborgs.
When push comes to shove,
what it all boils down to is that
the educational system has been
deteriorating continuously on their watch.
Everything that's wrong with it
is their responsibility because
they didn't take effective steps
to address and correct the horrible conditions.
It's not the legislators' fault
or the courts' fault.
You see,
the legislators and the courts
listen to the teachers and the principals
and the superintendents and the
professors in the schools of education,
when they make laws and decisions.
In fact, over the many decades
they have been making the laws
and the decisions
that educators have wanted.
So, the educators can't rightly blame
the lawmakers and the judges.
There are two main reasons
why educators have espoused
and clamored for educational policies
that don't work:
1. They're shallow, scatter-brained,
ditsy, wishy-washy, feel-good liberals.
2. It's in their economic interests
to have a dysfunctional school system,
just as it is in a doctor's interest
to have sick patients.
You see,
if a doctor cured all his patients
and they were all healthy,
the doctor wouldn't have anyone to treat.
Similarly, by making schools worse
and kids dumber and more unruly
and more frustrated and full of anger,
teachers are creating
job security for themselves.
They can rightly maintain
that conditions are horrible
(though they cleverly blame it on society,
even though that contradicts
their main assertion
that it is their role
as social reconstructionists
to mold society,
but nobody's really paying attention anyway,
not on Monday nights, anyway, with football,
and Thursdays with Trump's program,
and the sex and re-runs and King of the Hill).
In fact, conditions are SO horrible,
that you need
SPECIALLY-TRAINED PROFESSINALS
to deal with it. Of course,
these specially-trained professionals
need special training,
and for that
they'll have to be paid a lot, lot more
because they know a lot more
than ordinary morons like parents.
How bad are things today
that we need specially-trained professionals ?
They're real, real bad.
In fact, they're so bad
we have things like dyslexia
and math anxiety,
things we never had to cope with before.
You know, people are just too damned ungrateful.
If you can read this,
thank a teacher.
If you can talk,
thank a teacher.
If you can sing and dance,
thank your singing and dance instructor.
Have you REALLY thanked them?
I didn't think so,
If you can play a sport,
thank your PE teacher.
You know, Abraham Lincoln didn't have
a teacher and good schoolin'
and look what happened to him.
It a well known fact
that kids caint learn nothin' on their own
ceppin a teacher gives em the learnin'.
For example,
you ever seen a kid
what knows something bout computers
that a teacher don't ?
But, you know,
in these crisis times of ours,
what would things be like
if we had to send our kids to schools
without specially trained teachers ?
Why, white boys wouldn't learn
that they're worthless, no good trash,
that's fer sure,
an everybody knows they are !
Some of 'em gets uppity 'bout it and mad
and tired of hearin it
an brings a gun to school,
but they just have to get used to it.
They're just no good, white trash boys
and thank goodness
we got specially trained
specialist teachers to tell em so.
That don't give 'em
no right to get mad 'bout it.
As fer me,
I learned that I ain't nothing
but no good white trash boy,
an it was hard accepin in, mind you,
but they made me cep it
cuz it's fer my own good, I guess.
And, for that, I thank a teacher !
How bad is things in schools 2day ?
Oh, theys real real bad.
They gots them theres dislexias
where theys backwards get things.
Thank goodness we's gots
specially trained professionals
to tell us
our kids is all gots them there dislexias.
It's a horrible, frightful thing to have,
them dislexias, makin you think 2 comes b4 one
and b comes b4 a,
and backwards and sideways to boot !
Imagine the horribleness of it.
And all of a sudden
everybody's got it now,
like one of them disease du jours.
All the COOL people, anyway.
Why! Whoopi Goldberg's got it,
and probably all them there movie stars.
Probably that's what makes them
such good at bein movie starz.
I know for sure,
cause I seed it down there
on a billboard
near that Hollywoods place.
It had a big old picture of Whoopi
looking as successful as can be,
just like when she plays tic tac toe
on tv and sayz funny stuff.
The big old billboard
with her pixture on it
sez clear as day "Overcame Dyslexia".
Gospel Truth.
God strike me down with lightnin' if I'm lying !
Not only that,
it tells us how she overcame it.
"Hard Work !", it sayz.
Now, if that ain't
a hell of a way to overcome
one of them there newfangled diseases -
by workin' hard !
Who'd of ever thought of it !?
Thank goodness we got them there
specially trained specialists
to tell us about having
that dislexiaz disease
and how to overcome r ignorance
with hard work.!
Maybe we could
overcome all our diseases
with hard work.
Ceppin for Math Anxiety.
That's a bad one, I hear tell
and ain't no amout of hard work
or hollerin
or yippin
or yellin -
not even frogs eyes and a
bats heart boiled under incantations
under a full moon 'd cure Math Anxiety -
pretty darn near incurable, I hear tell.
But thank goodness we got them thar
specially trained specialists
to tell us 'bout dislexias
an Math Anxieties
and ADD's an all,
an I think they're worth
all the money in the world
fer telling us so
and fer bein so kind and carin to do so.
They really believe in what they're doing -
that's what I respek bout em most.
They believes in whats they doin -
so what if it costs r govment
lots of money to pay em
to tell us we got dislexias
and Math Anxieties.
When did the govment ever teach U anything?
It's teachers what do the teachin,
not no govment.
So I say
take the money from the govments
and gives it to the tchers
who believe in what they're doing
and telling us all
about the kids having dixlexieas
an ADD's an Math Anxieties
that we didn't never know nothing about b4.
Now there's some folks 'd rgue
there ain't no such a things
as dislexiaies
ner Math Angstieties
ner ADD's
an the kids shud shut ther japs
and mind ther p's an q's
an get to rememberin which way to turn em,
so's as to not get em mixed up,
an they ain't nothing but iggorant people
who don't know nothing
and ought to have
a steel rod stuck up their ass in prison
by some violent tattooed felon
who believes in what he's doin.
An I say
give the tchrs more money
and god bless America.
I ain't nothing but a
no good white trash white boy,
and now I'm a realizin' it,
and thankful to the teachers
fer teachin' me so, I am.
****
Someone will listen to my voice.
After "Joining Arnold" to overthrow
the corrupt Gray Davis administration
which took incredible bribes
from the corrupt teachers' union
and prison guards' union,
after having
my education career destroyed
by blacklisting by the liberals,
by the McCarthyism of the left,
after writing the script
for the Limbaugh program
and pre-dating the ideas
of Diane Ravitch and Tammy Bruce
by two decades,
I have earned a place
at the head of the conference table.
