(Note to My Dear Faithful Readers:
This is a template I created,
which I copy and modify
to create my web pages....
A very kind and helpful reader
pointed out to me that
my time of posting is 07:77 pm,
and asked if there was any significance
to that....
It only means that I create
the web pages in my camper
and upload them hours -
and sometimes days - later,
at kinko's.
The day and date reflect
the actual day and date
that I wrote the web page.
At first, I thought the time
of posting should reflect
the actual time I uploaded
the web page. However,
I was unable to modify my disks
at kinko's. I'm not sure why.
Perhaps because I use Explorer
and kinko's uses Netscape.
Anyway, I just leave it in there now
for the sake of appearance.
It looks real official
like Dan Weintraub's entries:
"posted by dweintraub at 4:44 am".
But, for now, it's just there
as a prop, as part of the background
to create the effect of officialness.
After all, what the hell does it
really matter what exact time
I wrote or uploaded it ?
