Prestigious Cup "Magnificent"

he gushed. "It's really wonderful, really terrific." ******* Well, the five-day "Dr. Risk" Program with the Sacramento Bee ran Monday through Friday last week. *******
**** Good Vibes from Armstrong and Getty. I woke up early Monday and heard most of the A & G show. They had a lot of "Dave's" calling in that day, it seemed. They talked about Norman Mailer and the craft of writing. I could relate to that. ****
**** Good vibes from Ross. It was a rather small and intimate audience at Memorial Auditorium Monday, compared to October. I arrived pretty early and got to sit in the center just a few rows from the front. I was surprised when I heard the gentleman sitting next to me introduced to a group as "Ross". Then I recognized him and introduced myself. He must have read my apology for bad behavior. He's a fan of Bob Dylan. He's a very friendly guy and we have a lot in common. ****
**** Well, once you're over 50, I guess it's good to be anywhere, but it's always good to be at an event with Gov Arnold and Mr. Riordan, two giants of intelligence and leadership. The announcement was about pacts with several Indian tribes. The first Indian leader who spoke was especially energetic and spoke passionately and intelligently. He was a former paratrooper in the U.S. Army. And then I stayed afterwards and watched the press corps conduct an interview. It's humbling and inspiring to be in these gatherings of people of such high-powered personalities, character, talent, will and intelligence. It's a feeling I've had for a whole week. ****
**** Good vibes from Michael Savage. I stopped off at the State Capitol, before and after the governor's announcement, to put myself in the right frame of mind. After that, I returned to my camper with a busy mind with a lot to absorb. My finger rolled the dial through the radio stations until my ear caught Savage. Michael was exceptionally pleasant and soothing to listen to Monday. (I often find his angry delivery emotionally tiring, even though I usually agree with him). He talked about the joy of having a puppy and how a puppy can bring such life to people, about the joy of the old family van he has, about his summers in upstate New York escaping the hot NYC ghetto. I could relate to that. ****
**** Good vibes from Dr. Sowell. Here are some of his recent articles. Bing Crosby: Singer of the Century Silencing Whom? Fat in California's Budget Summer de-programming Thomas Sowell Archive I could relate to that. ****
**** Good vibes from Sacramento Bee. Here are some of their recent stories, most of them published during my "Dr. Risk week. One-Man Band STAGE AND SCREEN Tom Hanks "The Terminal" Tom Hanks "The Terminal" "Holding Pattern" Cover Photo Friday Ticket "Brooks' Musical Casts A Spell of Hysteria in Which Nothing Is Sacred And Almost Everything Is Laugh-Out-Loud-Funny" No Offense, But..."The Producers" Damn Yankees INTERESTING/NEWS Lobster Found Guarding Watch Off England Wireless Security Enron Enron Image Overpowered Reality, Daniel Weintraub Jail Time to Prime Time, R.E. Graswich Ice Cream Prices Vic's Clay Russell, Body Man As Downtown Awakens, Street Artist... by Bob Sylva Buffy Won't Die Youth Became A Quick Study SPORTS Pistons Win Levin Aces Making Cut I could relate to that. ****
**** Then I relaxed, listening to soothing music from "The Music of Your Life" station. ****
