Philosophy of Education, A Poem

I Teach, Therefore I Am I Am, Therefore, I Teach. I Teach What I Am, And I Am What I Teach. I Teach To Live And I Live To Teach. Teach, Live, Be! I Teach Everyone And I Teach No One. I Teach Everything And I Teach Nothng. Teaching Is In And Of Itself An Education. Teach, Live, Be! I Think, Therefore I Teach. I Teach, Therefore I Think. I Think Teachers Teach Thinkers. Thinkers Think Teachers Teach. Teachers Teach Thinkers To Think. Teachers Think Thinkers Teach. Teachers Think Teachers Think. I Think Teachers Think Teachers Teach Thinkers. Therefore, I Think I Shall Teach. Teach, Live Be! This Teacher Thinks Thinking Teachers Teach Thinkers To Teach. An Unthought About Life Is Not Worth Thinking About. Therefore, Thinking, Teaching and Thinking About Teaching Are Things To Think About. Teach, Live, Be! I Think Teachers Think Teachers Teach Thinkers To Teach. Most Teachers Would Agree With Me On That. Therefore, Most Teachers Think Teachers Think Teachers Teach Thinkers To Think. Teach, Live, Be! David Scully

Scully's writings, at once the screech of fingernails on a blackboard and a soothing Gregorian Chant, at once excruciatingly painful torture and a thousand and one nights of sweet pleasure, have justly, clearly and deservedly earned him the titles of Poet Laureate of Educational Philosophy and Father of Poetical Philosophical Exhortations In Re Educatatis. Scully's intense and emotional educational insights and his colorful, rich resonance of pedantic peruses delight, entrance and edify as a fine, aged educational cabernet sipped with reckless and wanton abandon, as it were, from the hippest of generation-now cans, if you will.

I Think I Can. Therefore I Can Think! Teach, Live, Be!
