Greetings Dr. Gonzalez,

I am pleased that CSUS finally has new leadership.
As a courtesy, I am updating you on an issue
that goes back 21 years at CSUS.
I established a student organization
on the CSUS campus in 1982,
and was immediately censored
by the then president of CSUS
and his dean of students.

It has impacted my career profoundly
in the form of blacklisting,
that is, McCarthyism of the Left.
I am seeking a complete copy
of the newsletters I wrote then,
so I can tell the story with great accuracy.
Otherwise, I will just rewrite
the newsletters from memory if I have to.

I have made a collegial gesture to those
who have kept my newsletters on file
for the purpose of blacklisting me.

I'm sure things must
be better under your stewardship.
