Democratic Operatives Vandalize

Candidate Scully's Headquarters !

California Gubernatorial Candidate David Scully awoke today to find that his campaign headquarters had been vandalized overnight. Reliable inside sources confirm that Scully was high-spirited as he quickly repaired the damage to his mobile headquarters. "It comes with the territory", mused Candidate Scully, who threw his support to Candidate Schwarzenegger with a collegial endorsement last week. Overnight, the unknown perpetrators ripped the banner on Dave Scully's camper, and loosened the tape affixing the banner to the front of the camper. The latter crime (punishable by jail time) was designed to make the banner catch the wind and fly off the camper. The alert Scully, however, caught the problem and taped it securely, and taped the rip at the same time. Would that our government were in such competent hands ! Scully says the criminals are most likely liberal anti-recall Democrats unhappy with the banner's pro-Arnold message. Scully indicated that he intends to report the crime to the Davis Police Department today and inquire if that area is safely under surveillance. In response to inquiries as to why he lives in a ratty old camper which resembles the "Beverly Hillbillies'" auto, rather than in a sleek touring bus or a nice home befitting a California Gubernatorial Candidate, Scully replied, "It's politics. I've been blacklisted by liberals and abandoned by conservatives who've benefitted from my work. Read my website. I explain there that in 1982, at CSUS, I wrote the script for the Rush Limbaugh program. I'm quite serious about this, and the fact that I inject humor into my website to make it interesting and readable, in no way detracts from the fact that my story is true and demands redress."
