Is Ross Working For Ross Or Cruz ?

Note from a political junkie observing the recall scene: I've read that Ross is a high-powered, hardball type influential guy at the Capitol. Ok, makes sense for Cruz to pick him as campaign manager just like it was smart for Arnold to pick an experienced campaign team. But Arnold's team didn't advise Arnold to flagrantly violate campaign finance laws. What's Ross thinking? Is Ross thinking of his client's welfare or of his own? The campaign finance issue has really hurt Cruz, but Ross may get credit from the Dems for defeating Prop 54 ! Plus, party people who consider Cruz disloyal might be pleased with Ross' careless stewardship of Cruz campaign. Makes you wonder about picking a manager who's smarter, more ruthless, and better connected than you are. If Ross is calling the shots and Cruz is following Ross' bad judgement calls, then maybe it shows that Cruz really isn't a strong enough leader. That really does appear to be the strength of Arnold's candidacy. I saw him at the Memorial Auditorium yesterday and he walks and talks like the boss.
